Michelle Williams, managing director of strategy and business services at Southwest Airlines Cargo and Charters, will join the panel discussion “Air cargo operating systems: Digital booking platforms, capacity management and beyond,” at 1:30 p.m. local time on Monday, Sept. 18.

Michelle’s career in aviation spans nearly 25 years, four of which have been spent in the air cargo business. She has held various positions in technology, operations and strategy departments at Southwest Airlines. Since March 2019 Michelle has been responsible for leading the strategic planning, project delivery, data and analytics and technology for Southwest Airlines Cargo and Charters business.  

Prior to joining Southwest Airlines in 2014, Michelle served in multiple roles during her 15-year career at Sabre – including the Director of Crew Management Solutions, based in Vienna. 

Michelle holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, and resides in Dallas with her husband, James, children Faith and Wesley, and two loveable labradors and foster service dog.
