Matt Petot

Founder & CEO

The seeds of Matt’s success in creating CargoAi were sown throughout his career, spanning over two decades, where he had the opportunity to work in different departments, although always with a focus in logistics, supply chain, and airfreight.

Starting with DB Schenker in Australia, Matt project managed the implementation of new digital processes and databases which contributed to greater warehouse efficiency, and productivity in the air and sea freight departments. His focus on process optimization continued at Air France – KLM Cargo and Martinair for six years, specifically in Operations and Revenue Management.

He then went on to spend five years with Dyson in Singapore, where the company’s innovative approach, including processes such as Lean Manufacturing and Operational Transformation, were integral to aligning his focus for the future of the air cargo industry. After some years being promoted as Global Head of Business Excellence for Dyson, he struck out on his own in 2017, and founded and InCorporate before creating CargoAi in 2019.

As CEO of CargoAi, Matt considers himself first and foremost a creative and out-of-thebox thinker as one of his key success factors for driving the success of CargoAi. Matt is passionate about the company’s mission to bring the best available technologies to airfreight and closing the technology gap in the industry.

Matt spends a good amount of time on the road speaking at industry conferences and expositions but calls Singapore home (along with the most of his chief executives at CargoAi). When not at work, Matt enjoys hiking (especially in the alpine regions of his home country, France), as well as yachting.
