Before starting as Global Head Products & Development Air Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel, Marcel held various management positions at Lufthansa Group, starting in the first generation of the Lufthansa management trainee program “ProTeam.”

For the past 17 years, Marcel has been driving the development and global implementation of air logistics solutions for key industries, such as aerospace (KN EngineChain) or pharma and healthcare (the award-winning KN PharmaChain product). Marcel has supported the digital transformation of Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics business unit, including with the launch of myKN Quote & Book, a digital solution that offers instant quoting, booking and tracking of air freight shipments.

Marcel has been steering air freight sustainability initiatives since 2019, aiming to expand Kuehne+Nagel’s sustainable services portfolio with innovative and easy shipping options to support customers` sustainability ambitions and contribute to the development and widespread use of alternative aviation fuel.
