Her prior work includes roles as digital editor, reporter and associate producer across many newsrooms covering everything from foreign affairs, politics, crime, local communities and culture. Her work has been published in the Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, Military Times and The Chicago Tribune. Blackann earned a masters in journalism at Georgetown University and resides in Houston, Texas.
