American Airlines Cargo’s Hodges joins fireside chat at Air Cargo Tech Summit

Summit takes place in Brussels on Sept. 18-19

The Air Cargo Next editorial team is pleased to announce that Brian Hodges, managing director, strategy and planning at American Airlines Cargo, will sit down for a one-on-one fireside chat at the Air Cargo Tech Summit 2023 taking place Sept. 18-19 in Brussels.

Hodges will join an Air Cargo Next editor at 2:30 p.m. local time on Monday, Sept. 18, to discuss trends in the air cargo industry, including an industrywide outlook on key technological transformations and sustainable pathways for the future.

American Airlines will be expanding its summer schedule by more than 400 widebody flights per month compared with 2022. The carrier ranks at number 28 in Air Cargo Next’s Freight 50, a listing of the top 50 carriers by FTKs.

Hodges has served as managing director, strategy and planning at American Airlines Cargo since October 2022. Prior to that, he spent over a decade in various leadership roles with American Airlines, including director of customer insights, product and engagement, and director of revenue management, cargo division.

Air Cargo Tech Summit 2023 will provide two days of discussions, panel conversations and networking events with experts in the airfreight industry.
